Joe is an Associate with the firm.  He began his legal career as an intern in the City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri.

After graduating from law school, he joined the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office, where he served for over six years as an Assistant Public Defender.  He represented hundreds of individuals throughout the state in criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious and complex felonies.  He was selected to serve in the Office’s Commitment Defense Unit, where he successfully represented individuals facing indefinite civil commitment.
